The Korean Ministry of Information and Communication recently announced that it signed an agreement with the Mexican government in September whereby Mexico will adopt Korea's terrestrial DMB standard. Furthermore, the ministry engaged in talks with the Chilean Ministry of Transportations and Telecommunications during the CIRT convention , held in Mexico in early October, and it expects Chile to adopt Korea's DMB standards as well.
